My name is Captain Travis Huckeba. I was born and raised in the Panhandle of Florida, home of the Forgotten Coast. I have fished some of the best waters in the world for Tarpon and Red fish. I have guided the Gulf Coast waters for 13 years from the Panhandle of Florida to the Biloxi marsh of Louisiana, specializing in fly fishing and light tackle for Tarpon and Red fish.
While guiding I also worked as a Commissioned Officer for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation for 11 years. I was twice elected Coastal Conservation Association Officer of the year in my career. When I was not guiding I was protecting this great resource and may of had my eye on the tides and fish while on patrol. So as you can see I have lived, worked and played on these waters.
My boat of choice is a Hells Bay Marquesa, one of the best boats made for shallow water fishing. I will always give you the best chance to stick one of these great fish weather it be a Silver King or Giant Red. You are sure to leave the ramp with a smile on your face.
