“sight fishing in salt water is like having sex with the lights on with a supermodel!!!"

Captain Jason Rucker is a true predator when it comes to stalking illusive gamefish in shallow water. He has been guiding professional sight casters to their desired quarry for almost 20 years. Jason's experience, day-in and day-out enthusiasm, ability to quickly dissect the water and find fish is second to none.  Captain Rucker has been very fortunate to have fished with some of the world’s most accomplished, and demanding  anglers throughout his career, which has made him very skilled at finding fish in all conditions.

Captain Rucker has guided in the Florida Keys, Everglades, Panhandle of Florida, Louisiana marsh, and the South Pacific. But, it goes without saying - the waters between the Panhandle of Florida, and Southeast Louisiana are Jason's favorite flats to fish. Captain Rucker has a reputation for continuously putting his anglers on redfish, tarpon, permit, bonefish, snook, giant travails and too many other species of flats fish to name. The Panhandle and Louisiana marsh waters are where he spends his time these days sight fishing redfish and tarpon. Jason spends September-March stalking giant redfish along the coast of Louisiana, and April-August sticking giant tarpon in the Panhandle of Florida. Captain Rucker fishes out of a Hells Bay Boca Grande, and has all top of the line equipment for your fishing experience. Come spend some time on the bow with captain Jason Rucker and the boys at Redfish Dynasty. You won't regret it!

"My anglers have made me the guide that I am today. I have gained a lifetime’s worth of knowledge about fishing, as well as everyday life from all of them. Sight fishing is a team sport and I could not have gotten to this point without each and every one of my anglers. I look forward to battling Mother Nature with all of you for many years to come!"

What Our Clients Are Saying

I have fished the Biloxi Marsh / Venice area of Louisiana for almost 30 years, but since discovering RedFish Dynasty several years ago, we have fished exclusively.
We have mainly fished with Cody, Jason and Travis, But all of their guides are absolutely first class. They are very professional in arranging trips, and always check in a couple weeks before to update me on current conditions and required equipment etc.
They have extensive knowledge and experience of the whole area, and will always choose the best options for when and where to fish depending on the conditions.
They are a delight to fish with, and coupled with their knowledge of flies and fish locations, you can always be assured the best possible day fishing.
I have no hesitation in recommending Redfish Dynasty unreservedly.  Sincerely John
